Lullaby afternoon

This past week has been most relaxing, and glorious. I had sometime to take some shots with my little Weather Owl my sister got me for Christmas. I treasure that thing so much. It sets on the lamp on my Night stand.
I kind of have an obsession for owl things. they toy with my mind at times.

They call me mellow yellow....

Hey, it's been awhile.
So I'll stop and stay a bit.

I guess you can say Ive been "pre-occupied" but that's highly unlikely. I'm a lazy bum.

I sit around home watching Gilmore girls and eating some sort of yummy potato dish.
I. am. sick. of. it.
I have so much to do, and yet, I'm not planning any of it. I should, but I'm not.
Soon enough I'll be on a jet plane flying my way towards the middle of the country. Yep. That's it Minnesota.

I am rather in need of this trip. I long for it more and more each day.

Ohh HEY! Did you notice the mix-up of this outfit? My skirt is really a shirt, and my shirt is really a dress. And the blazer....well that's just a blazer.

Oh mirror in the sky, what is love?

Yesterday and today have been PHOTO crazy! I have wanted to take bold pictures,

and have heavy make-up and bold lips. Well I took these shots and thought that

 maybe I could call them "Madonna inspired"
Heheh, I didn't think they were worthy of putting the pictures up seperatly...

 .....so I didn't. (State the obvious)

Happy Birthday to ME

Today is my birthday. I am a year older that I was last time  I blew out the candles.
My normal/usual birthday would have been rather boring, you know,

“Wake up to breakfast and then chill out till it’s time for presents and dinner”
well now that I am a year older….I am a year wiser.

So I’m not going through the usual birthday blues.

With my sisters of course. Now one should trust me with paint…or markers for that matter.

and we walked around and took pictures.

By the dawn's early light

Yesterday, at exactly this time, I was probably sitting, in a field of a TON of people,

watching pretty firey puffs fly into the midnight sky. Rather fun, let me tell you.

Early that morning, me and my sister Becca hurried as fast as we could to run out the

 door to have this "Patriotic photoshoot." (so, uhm we woke up at 8:30 and left at 12:00)

But we had a so much fun with it!

This week has been abnormally sunny, for the past 3 days. Here, in Washington, it isn't always like this. Hehe! But today, we got back to normal, nice warm rain. Almost makes me want to go outside  and stay off my lazy bum!
