The Awkward moment when...

- You tell people you haven’t seen Harry Potter. Or Lord Of The Rings. Or Star Wars. Or the Hunger    Games. Their faces, really.
- The little boy in the grocery store says “Hiiii” really loud, and then pulls down his pants.
- The peach sorbet is empty and you can’t go into town and buy more. Best.Stuff.prettymuch.EVER.
-You belt out Aritha Franklin in your backyard and you realized your neighbors ,who were working, completly stopped to listen. *Runs inside and locks the doors*

Hey. So tell me your awkward stories;)

If I had a choice...

If I had a choice, I would drive 30 minutes everyday to The Crepe Escape and get coffee and a crepe for breakfast. I recently had the please to go there and get a Gnome Pot crepe. It was amazing. And I'm never getting crepes anywhere else again. Ever.

In white corners....

I know its a bit crazy how these pillows don't match at all, but I kinda grew on the idea of being odd.
I put up these Triangle Corner Shelves I got from Lowes instead of that nasty table that only held one thing.

Paint some twigs from the backyard and put them in a vase. Also, stack things on top of each other. It saves space, either that or enhances your lazy skills from not putting things away.
My working "progress" of a gallery.... Heh, heh.

Well! I'm off to make a change in this world. (not really)
Oh, and stuffy nose, feel free to leave. You're not welcome anymore.

Black and Blue

Top: Kohl's. Skirt: Thrifted. Jacket: Kohl's (similar) Shoes: Payless. Ear chain: H&M.
To tell you the truth, I have never actually loved the Rolling Stones,
but the very fact that this shirt was only $2 and in MY size, I thought it was fate that we be together.

Tips for begining Photographers

1.      Don’t lean on Photoshop to fix every error you make. Try and get the best shot you can, and enhancing on Photoshop. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve relied on Photoshop when I made a mistake in the photoshoot, and then tried editing and it just looked worse!

2.      Focus! I feel like focus is a huge contributor to good photos. What I do when trying to focus on something, I’ll put the lens on Manual (MF) and set my camera to Live View so I can focus myself and look at it through a bigger screen. Once I feel like I have the right focus, I switch the lens back to Auto (AF) so the lens can focus it sharper. However, if you are leaning towards the vintage indie look, and you don’t want it to be a sharp focus, then keep it on MF.

3.      Develop you own style. Don’t look at your favorite photographer’s picture and do the exact same thing, because that will look pretty unprofessional on your part (Take it from someone who fell in that hole many times.) Be creative in your own way and show your personality through your work.

4.      Take on challenges! If you feel silly climbing that hill to get the top of your models head, or walking in water in your dry clothes. Just do it! Trust me, going beyond your comfort zone to get a great photo really feels amazing afterwards!

5.      When in doubt, snap the photo! Just keep taking pictures, that s a #1 tip for those who are taking pictures of weddings, engagement, family.. etc. Because you don’t want to miss any sort of emotion! That’s one thing I learned from taking pictures of Santa with children, you just can’t miss anything, so keep snapping. (And no, I didn’t mean for that to rhyme.)
